Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) & Risk Management
Develop and implement EHS Management Systems aligned with the WSH Act, SS 506, SS 659:2020, and ISO 45001:2018.
Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures per SS 679 and CP 79, using 5x5 risk matrix.
Establish Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities: scaffolding, electrical, WAH, confined space, hot works.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA); implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA, SCDF, and maintain regulatory documentation and reporting.
Develop and test Emergency Response Plans (ERP), aligned with SCDF and ISO audit standards.
Construction Project & Technical Safety
Coordinate WSH risk controls from piling to handover, ensuring safety at each construction phase.
Plan and supervise scaffolding works—including cantilever and mast climber systems—per CP14 and WSH (Scaffold) Regulations.
Oversee tower/mobile crane lifting operations with Lifting Plans and certified teams.
Conduct site inspections, internal audits, and guide subcontractors on closing WSH non-conformities.
Manage confined space entry, hot work permits, and WAH operations based on legal and project requirements.
Leadership, Training & Subcontractor Management
Lead and coordinate large site teams (500–700 daily); enforce safety culture and productivity standards.
Deliver induction briefings, toolbox talks, and targeted safety training using Behavioural Safety and CultureSAFE models.
Monitor WSH KPIs and implement improvements using performance dashboards.
Evaluate subcontractor safety systems and conduct routine WSH reviews.
Business Operations & Digital Management
Support tenders with WSH plans, RA, method statements, and ISO documentation (9001, 14001, 45001).
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on safety matters and audit preparations.
Track manpower costing, project claims, and VO for scaffolding and electrical works.
Use Excel dashboards and digital tools for planning, reporting, and risk control tracking.
Multilingual Communication & Community Engagement
Communicate effectively in English and Bengali; basic proficiency in Tamil and Hindi for site coordination.
Translate RA, SOPs, and notices to improve understanding among diverse workers.
Lead community outreach through CPR/AED training, blood donation drives, and Migrant Matter activities (career coaching, volunteering, cultural).
